After Orson's passing, Kruger became the successor and began to open the clan's doors to visitors in an effort to restore its former glory. Travelers can complete Reputation Quests to follow the unfolding Grimmaw story and earn rewards.

In contrast, the Uru Clan originated from members abandoned by other clans. Its rise came after the Warsong Festival victory of Alsa and Soren. The Uru Clan now welcomes visitors with a strong emphasis on unity, and it has quickly become a respected power across the desert.

Bounty hunters also operate prominently in this region. Many gather in Alkali, located in the Eroded Enclave. With increasing local commissions, they have planned a stronghold near the area. The Quicksand Claw bandits, all Maulers, once plundered caravans under their boss Ferranc. After Ferranc was defeated by Magister Merlin, the group splintered into smaller factions that still cause unrest in Alkali. Travelers should remain cautious and avoid unnecessary conflict.

Mars Peak is one of the most magnificent mountains in the desert. It is said to be the place where the primordial warlord once resided. Pilgrims travel great distances to ascend the mountain and pay reverence to the Dusk Lord and the primordial warlord. The summit is reserved for victors of the Warsong Festival, and the Dusk Lord chooses the ultimate champion from among them. Mars Peak is closed to the public during the festival.

Sunseek Arena, named in honor of the Dusk Lord worshipped by the Maulers, stands as one of the most bustling places in the desert. • Handling scorpion venom: If stung by a scorpion, use the oils from desert cacti to neutralize the venom.

• Handling spider venom: Always carry milk thistles, as they can neutralize spider venom.

• Avoiding ironjaws: If a traveler accidentally enters ironjaw territory, they should leave immediately. Ironjaws lower their head slightly before charging. If this behavior is noticed, wait for the right moment and dodge quickly to avoid being attacked.
